All About Me

Hey there. I’m Rose Kiser, an experienced copywriter and occasional designer.

I take very mundane things and pick particular words to make you go “Maybe I do need to go buy some screwdrivers today.” When I’m not writing, I’m busy sitting around thinking up creative marketing ideas before working to execute them in a suave and strategic manner.

I consider myself lucky to have been able to work for a variety of brands and companies but my most recent employer is Laudisi Enterprises. In my career, I’ve written for Peterson Pipes, Cornell & Diehl, Caldwell Cigars, Smokingpipes, Dan-O’s Seasoning, Pap’s Jerky, Nate’s Coffee, 88.1 WRFL, Kalama Safaris, the Louisville Ballet, and more than a few others.

  1. I’m consumed by wanderlust.

  2. Career preferences when I was 8: Game designer, James Bond, writer, and dog. I was an ambitious young woman.

  3. My cat’s name is Nellie “Pawsforeffect” Fur-tado.

  4. Three words I wish I could use more: Chicanery, fetid, behoove

  5. Biggest influences: David Ogilvy, Hunter S. Thompson, Kurt Vonnegut, & Maynard James Keenan.

  6. I consider myself a forever student, always learning something new.

  7. I spend a minimum of 8 hours writing for work, then spend 5 more writing for fun.

  8. I’m always searching for new music. New being subjective.

  9. Horror hound, always down for a scare.

  10. Though I’m from Kentucky, scotch is my poison of choice. Sorry bourbon.

  11. My life motto is K.I.S.S (Keep it simple, stupid!)

  12. At my core, I am a hopeless romantic, and will always wear my heart on my sleeve.
